Welcome to gmwarranties.com (the “Site”), operated by the owner of gmwarranties.com (“we,” “us,” or “our”). These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Site, including submitting quote requests for GM Protection Plans.

By accessing or using the Site, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Site.

1. Nature of Our Service

  • The Site provides a referral service only. We facilitate connections between users and authorized GM dealerships for quotes on GM Protection Plans (official vehicle service contracts endorsed by General Motors for Chevrolet, Buick, GMC, and Cadillac vehicles).
  • We do not sell, issue, underwrite, administer, or service protection plans. All plans are issued, serviced, and governed solely by General Motors (or its authorized affiliates/channels, such as GM Protections).
  • We are not an insurance company, broker, or financial institution. We do not provide advice, recommendations, or guarantees regarding coverage, pricing, eligibility, or suitability of any plan.

2. Quote Request Process

  • By submitting a quote request (including your VIN, contact information, or vehicle details), you authorize us to verify your vehicle information via the official NHTSA database and forward your details to one or more selected authorized GM dealership partners.
  • All post-submission communication, negotiations, plan customization, payments, contract issuance, and servicing occur directly between you and the assigned GM dealership.
  • Payments are processed exclusively through the official GM payment gateway/portal.
  • We do not receive, handle, or store payment information.

3. No Warranties or Guarantees

  • All information on the Site (including discounts, pricing examples, coverage details, or benefits) is provided “as is” and for general informational purposes only.
  • We make no representations or warranties regarding:
  • The availability, terms, pricing, discounts, or approval of any GM Protection Plan.
  • The accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any quoted information.
  • The performance, coverage, or claims handling of any plan (all governed by GM’s official terms).
  • Discounts are offered through our dealer partnerships and may vary based on vehicle, plan, location, eligibility, and GM/dealership discretion. We do not guarantee any specific savings.

4. User Responsibilities

  • You must provide accurate, current information when submitting a quote request.
  • You agree not to use the Site for any unlawful purpose, to submit false information, or to impersonate others.
  • You are solely responsible for reviewing and understanding any GM Protection Plan terms, conditions, exclusions, limitations, and costs directly from the dealership or GM.

5. Limitation of Liability

  • To the fullest extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising from:
  • Your use of the Site or reliance on any information provided.
  • Interactions, transactions, or disputes with any GM dealership.
  • Errors, delays, or unavailability of quotes, coverage, or service.
  • Any issues with GM Protection Plans (claims denials, repairs, etc.).
  • Our total liability, if any, shall not exceed $100.

6. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, losses, liabilities, or expenses (including attorneys’ fees) arising from your use of the Site, your submissions, or your interactions with referred dealerships.

7. Intellectual Property

All content on the Site (text, logos, graphics) is owned by us or our licensors and protected by copyright and other laws. You may not reproduce, modify, or distribute without permission.

8. Third-Party Links and Services

The Site may contain links to third-party sites (e.g., GM dealerships or official GM pages). We are not responsible for their content, privacy practices, or services.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Site after changes constitutes acceptance. Check this page periodically.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to the Site at any time, without notice, for any reason.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wisconsin, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved exclusively in courts located in Waukesha County, Wisconsin.
